Supply Chain Transparency
Building an Ethical and Transparent Sourcing Network
At CIRANDA, we believe that transparency is the cornerstone of responsible business. Since 1994, we've been committed to fostering traceable and ethical supply chains that reflect our values of integrity and sustainability. Our goal is to ensure that every ingredient we provide is sourced responsibly, and that our processes benefit both people and the planet.
Code of EthicsClean and Honest Labels
Ensuring Traceability from Seed to Shelf
Our Commitment to Clean Labels
Transparency should start with the label. Every product we supply comes with a clean and honest label that reflects the rigorous standards we uphold throughout our supply chain. Whether it’s USDA Organic, non-GMO, Fair Trade, or Regenerative Organic, our labels stand for something more than compliance—they represent our promise of integrity to our customers.
traceability you can trust
Each ingredient in our supply chain is fully traceable back to its source. We ensure that our suppliers meet strict certification standards, such as USDA Organic, which requires annual third-party inspections to guarantee compliance. This level of traceability means our customers can trust that what they see on the label is a true reflection of the product’s journey.
Supplier Code of Conduct
Ensuring Ethical Practices Across Our Supply Chain
Setting High Ethical Standards
Our Supplier Code of Conduct is a core component of our commitment to an ethical and responsible supply chain. It lays out clear standards for human rights, worker safety, and environmental stewardship, ensuring that every partner in our network shares our values. We work closely with our suppliers to maintain these standards, from fair wages and non-discriminatory practices to safe and healthy working conditions. 100% of CIRANDA suppliers have signed the Code of Conduct.
Supplier Code of ConductMonitoring and Compliance
We hold ourselves and our partners accountable through regular, in-person audits, as well as third-party verification. These audits help ensure compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct, addressing areas like freely chosen labor, worker equality, and environmental practices. By maintaining these rigorous standards, we create a supply chain that’s as ethical as it is sustainable.
Canadian Forced Labor ReportSMETA AUDIT
Independent Audits for Accountability
We utilize SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), the world’s leading ethical supply chain audit, to monitor labor practices, health and safety standards, and environmental responsibility within our supply chain. SMETA helps us better understand and monitor standards of labor, health and safety, environmental performance and ethics throughout our supply chain, and delivers corrective action plans to suppliers to improve performance, as necessary. By 2026, we aim to have 90% of our ingredients sourced from suppliers that have undergone these or equivalent audits, ensuring that ethical trade principles are integrated at every step.
