Community Enrichment
Empowering Communities, Uplifting Lives
At CIRANDA, community enrichment is not just a responsibility; it’s a core part of our identity. Our goal is to improve the quality of life in the communities we are connected to—locally, regionally, and globally. Each year, CIRANDA donates 2.5% of its net income and actively encourages employee participation in volunteer efforts. By partnering with nonprofit organizations and aligning our charitable giving with our sustainability goals, we strive to make a meaningful impact.
Our Commitment to Charitable Giving
CIRANDA's charitable giving is managed by both an employee-operated committee and our sustainability team. The Community Involvement and Corporate Giving (CICG) Committee oversees donations supporting hunger relief, disaster relief, and outreach programs, while our sustainability team focuses on funding global impact projects and organic farming initiatives.
Making a Difference at Home
Building Stronger Communities in Hudson and Beyond
CIRANDA is proud to call Hudson, Wisconsin home, and we are equally proud of our commitment to uplifting the local community. Through charitable donations, partnerships with local nonprofits, and volunteer work, we continuously strive to enhance the lives of our neighbors. In 2023, CIRANDA was recognized as the "Business of the Year" by the St. Croix Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation and the "Large Business of the Year" by the Hudson Chamber of Commerce.

In 2023, CIRANDA contributed 872 employee volunteer hours to local causes, including participation in the St. Croix RiverFest’s Annual River Cleanup. This initiative helps protect the beauty and health of the river, a vital part of the local ecosystem. In April 2023, CIRANDA joined the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ “Green Tier Charter for Climate Action.” Our environmental efforts also extend to pollinator protection, working with the Pollinator Friendly Alliance and the University of Minnesota Bee Squad to maintain bee colonies on our campus.
Spotlight on St. Croix Valley Food Bank
CIRANDA’s long-standing partnership with the St. Croix Valley Food Bank (SCVFB) is one of our most cherished local collaborations. In 2023, CIRANDA sponsored SCVFB’s new food-relief delivery truck and supported two vital food programs: Goodness in a Box and the Elder Food Box Program, which provide nutritious food to local individuals and tribe elders.
Supporting Communities Abroad
Global Impact Through Support and Collaboration
Our commitment to community enrichment extends far beyond our local borders. We work closely with farming and production partners in over 15 countries, ensuring that our global operations benefit both the environment and the people who depend on it.
Supporting Education in Pakistan
In 2022, CIRANDA began a partnership with The Citizens Foundation USA to build a school in Karachi, Pakistan, benefiting approximately 140 primary school students. Our contributions toward the construction of the school and its operations provided much-needed educational opportunities, including two sponsored classrooms and support for the Aagahi women’s program.
Disaster Relief Efforts
When monsoon flooding devastated Pakistan in 2022, CIRANDA acted swiftly by funding ShelterBox, an organization that provides emergency shelter and essential supplies like water filters, solar lights, and cash assistance to families in need.
Fighting Global Hunger
In response to global hunger crises, CIRANDA supported World Central Kitchen in 2023, contributing to their efforts to feed people affected by disaster and displacement worldwide. By aligning with organizations like World Central Kitchen, we can extend our reach and provide assistance to those who need it most.
